Hockey has strongly established itself in public favor in Auckland, and when the final for the championship, between Auckland (last year’s champions) and United, was played at Remuera yesterday, over 2000 spectators were present. The ground was in'excellent order, and Auckland won abrilliant game by three goals ‘to one. t
