ITALIAN AND AUSTRIAN NAVIES.

THE SHIPBUILDING PROGRAMME.

FOUR DREADNOUGHTS EACH

United Press Association—Copyright

(Received July 27, 9.5 p.m.) ROAIE, July 27

Italy and Austria have now declared a definite shipbuilding programme, consisting of four large armored ships of the latest type in each case. One of these has been already laid down by Italy. The second will be laid down immediately, and/the remaining two in 1909. Austria’s programme of four is equally a reality, inasmuch as two ships have been ordered, and a floating dock is under construction.
