AUSTRALASIAN BLUEJACKETS.
INSPECTED AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE. ADDRESSED BY KING EDWARD. UNITED Pit ESS AsSOCIATiON—CorYIUGIfIT. (Received July 27, 9.5 p.m.) LONDON, July 27. The Australian and New Zealand bluejackets paraded in the garden of Buckingham Palace. The Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Admiral Fawkes, Lords Crewe and Northcote, and Colonel Foxton (Commonwealth delegate to the Defence Conference) •were present. King Edward closely inspected the men, and in a pleasant speech, expressed the hope that the experience they had gained would prove the seed of a fruitful development of naval training in the colonies.
