ESTATE OP JOSEPH GURZINSKI A meeting of creditors in the insolvent estate of Joseph Gurzinski, restaurant keeper of Waikoliu, was held at the office of the Deputy-Official Asignoe (Mr. J. Coleman) yesterday. Mr. H. Bright represented the bankrupt and only two creditors were present. The bankrupt, under , examination, stated that when he started in business he had about £40.. He sold a little drapery and groceries, and tried to pay cash as long as he could. He estimated the amount of liabilities-over assets at £B3. The value, of the goods Nicholls took over was about £2O. Mr. Riacli expressed the opinion that Gurzinski was more sinned against than himself a sinner. Until he had met Nicholls he had proved himself able to pay. and quite trustworthy. 'The bankrupt stated that if lie could have obtained judgment in the Alagistrate’s Court against Nicholls he would have been able to pay his creditors m full. The meeting then adjourned.
