TO BE HELD IN 1910. KING EDWARD’S APPEAL. United Press Association— Copyright. LONDON, July 28. Prince Arthur of Connaught, in reference to the Anglo-Japanese exhibition to be held at Shepherd’s Bush, 1910, read a letter addressed to him, wherein King Edward remarked : “International exhibitions these days largely depend on private support. I hope, therefore, the Japanese and British peoples will come forward to promote an undertaking which has for its object an increase in the commercial prosperity of both countries, and tlie uniting still closer of the bonds of friendship already existing between them.” '
