The manager of the New Alpine mine reports as follows : —Stoping was continued above No. 14 level. The Tcef Temains unchanged from last report, and 145 tons were paddocked, making a total tonnage of 594 tons. No driving was done, the rock drill having been 'sent out for overhaul. The drum and gearing of the winch at No. 10 was brought out for overhaul. V hen this is completed the winch should be in fair working order.
