THE FEDERAL PARLIAMENT. AN OLD AGE PENSIONS BILL. United Pnicss Association—CorruiGQT. (Received. July 31, 1.10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, July 30. The Industries Preservation Bill and ‘Old Age Pensions Amending Bill have 'been read a thix-d time in the Federal House of Representatives. The latter proposes to appropriate one million sterling for pensions. It has been approximately estimated that the pensions will cost, the Commonwealth two millions sterling annually.
