DECREASE IN TRAFFIC. IPi-.ii Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, August 2. During the last month 847,194 passengers were carried over the Christchurch tramways, the total receipts being £6145 3s od. Last year’s figures were 861,235 passengers, and £6203 os Lid receipts. The deficiency on the year’s workings to date is £365 2s 7d. Two car drivers responsible for the head-on collision in Worcester Street recently. have been dismissed by tho Tramway Board. ■— .. .
