TOURIST HOUSES.
TENDERS FOR LEASES ACCEPTED
[Pint Press Association.] WELLINGTON, August 2. Tenders have just been accepted by .the Tourist Department for the lease for a term of five years of the Government tourist houses at Te Puia Springs (north of Gisborne). Lake Waikaremoana, Lake Pukaki, and Te Anau. The successful applicants and the annua! rentals arc as follows:—Te Puia, G. W. Good, of Matainata, £6O; Waikiremoana, Miss Hammond and Mrs. Brooking, £3O : PukaKi, J. P. Roberts, £SO; Te Anau, J. W. Oram, of Mossburn. £7B.
