RIFLE SHOOTING.
AN OTAGO TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA (Per Press Association./ DUNEDIN, August 2. At an enthusiastic meeting in the Town Hall to-night, the Mayor presiding, it was agreed to take steps to send an Otago and Southland team of riflemen to the New South Wales championship meeting. A strong committee was appointed to carry out the resolution It was explained that the movement was not hostile to the New Zealand team, but that it was felt that Otago and Southland should be represented at the meeting.
