INSURED FOR £300,000. RELIEF TUG RETURNS. Unitkd Panes. Association— Copyright LONDON* August 5. The Waratah is insured with Lloyds for about £3oo*ooo. A tug sent to search for the missing steamer Waratah has returned to Mossel Bay, without having discovered any trace of the vessel. (Received August 6, 11.15 p.m).
The Maori’s wreck has deepened apprehension for the Waratah, whose reinsurance has risen to 70 guineas.
