ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
FALL FROM A SCAFFOLDING. [Pint l’arss Association.] WELLINGTON, August 7. * Mr. James Trevor, City Councillor, and head of the building firm of Trevor and Son, yesterday fell from a scaffolding on a building his firm is erecting in Wellington. He fell about 27 feet. His left collarbone was bro ken, and his left arm severely cut about, while his head was cut and bruised in several places. No fears are entertained that he will not hare a satisfactory recovery. A SUDDEN DEATH. A young man, aged 29, Ernest Edmond Ridding, died' suddomy. An inquest is being held. He had been under medical treatment. THE MISSING REEF TON MAN. REEFTON, August 7. All hope has been abandoned m regard to the missing man Baxter, as a drowned horse and a trap wore found in Little Grey River. Baxter ".mis a native of Sunderland, Engl i id, and is supposed to' have friends at Nelson.
