PERSONAL.

Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Kennedy left for Auckland by the s.s. Wimmera on Saturday morning. Messrs A. Dewing, R. S. Chilton, and J. F. Pettic were passengers for south by the s.s. Monowai last evening. ‘ Mr. F. Hall returned to Gisborne on Saturday morning from Wellington. While in tho capital lio was rather soi lously ill, and was compelled to remain indoors for nearly a month.
