DOMESTIC SCIENCE.
TO BE TAUGHT IN OTAGO UNIVERSITY.
[Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, August 9.. At a meeting of the University Council this afternoon, it was decided, by six votes to four, to accept the offer of £2OO per annum for three years, made by Mr. John Studholme, for the establishment of a chair of- domestic science at the university. The plans made by tho Council cover arrangements for a period of four years, and it was resolved to ask Mr. Studhlome to extend his offer for one year.
