ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
A BUSHFELLER INJURED
(Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, August 12. A man named Iskirka was badly injured while bushfelling this morning, 30 miles inland of AVanganui. A tree fell on him, smashing his leg, and inflicting other serious injury. He is unconscious, and his mates are now carrying him out of the bush to meet the ambulance, which has been despatched from here. DROAVNED BY UPSETTING OF A BOAT. IN\ r ERCARGILL, August 12. This morning the auxiliary fishing vessel Dollv A'arden brought to Bluff the body of Hector Robertson, who was drowned as a result of the capsize or a dingey at Port Pegasus, Stewarts Island. An inquest was held, and a verdict of accidental death returned, with a- rider added commending a man named Bailey, who had bravely saved the life of another man named Framanton. ■ " ; v T L -■; l f
