USE OF WELLINGTON TOWN HALL GRANTED TO BOXINGASSOCIATION.

WELLINGTON, August 12. The City Council to-night, after considerable discussion, granted the Boxing Association’s application for the use of the Town Hall for professional boxing contests. Some Councillors supported this course on tins one occasion, because the Boxing Association had already incurred considerable expense in arranging contests in anticipation of getting the use of the Town Hall.
