MOBILISATION ORDERS. i When Major Sandtmann Avas in Gisborne some months ago it Avas arranged between him and Captain C. Hellior Evans, officer commanding the East Coast Mounted Rules, that in order to test the efficiency -and the serAu’ce strength of the squadron, an order to mobilise should be telegraphed from Napier calling the Mounted Rifles into the field on the folio,wing day. The long-expected order Avas received by Capt. Evans yesterday, and instructions have been sent by him to the A r arious officers ordering a parade for this afternoon. The orders are: Mounted in marching order Avith full field kit, and a day’s rations. _ Major Sandtmann Avill arrive from Napier this morning to inspect the squadron, and field moA r ements will be-' carried out. In the evening a full parade will be held at the Garrison Hall.
