THE PERTH TRAGEDY.
INQUEST ON THE MORRIS CHILDREN. FATHER AND STEPMOTHER ARRESTED FOR MURDER. United Press Association —copyright PERTH, August 17. At an inquest oh the Morris children, the jury found that Arthur Morris died from an irritant poison administered by the woman Rendell, and that Thomas Morris, father of the children, was accessory to the act. Both have been arrested on a charge of wilful murder. The evidence disclosed jrepeated sales of spirits of salts to Morris and members of the family. [A cablegram received last week stated:—The inquest on the bodies of the three children Morris, recently exhumed, is exciting interest. Two died in July, 1967, and one in October, 1908. The medical evidence shows signs of irritant poison. Two of. the brothers of the dead children allege that a woman, who lived with their father after their mother had left him, gave spirits of salts to the dead brother to gargle his throat.]
