PREMIERS’ CONFERENCE. FINANCIAL SCHEME DISCUSSED. United Press Association —Copyright MELBOURNE, August 17. Mr Deakin attended the Premier’s Conference and discussed the financial scheme. The consultations were continued to-day. Great pains were ta/ken to secure absolute secrecy. It is understood the States are prepared to accept a settlement on a per capita basis.
