A NEW SOUTH WALES EX-JUDGE
United 1* it ess Association —Copyright SYDNEY, August 17. Ex-Judge Foster is dead, aged 79. [Pun Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 17. Mr A. E. Remington, M.P., for Rangitikei, died at 3.J0 this morning. [Mr Arthur Edward Remington was born at New 'Plymouth in 1856, and was educated at a private school at Jersey, Channel Islands. He was chairman oi tho Bulls' Town Board in 1879-90, member of the Rangitikei County C uincil 1881-91, of the Wanganui Hospital Board 1887-91, and of the Hunterville Town Board, of which he was chairman, 1905-6. He was first elected M.H.It. for Rangitikei in 1902. He was a freeholder and a supporter of the present Government.]
