THE CHRISTCHURCH SHOOTING FATALITY. fPicn P lll'.SN Association. I CHRISTCHURCH, August 18. The inquest on the death of Catherine Crosbery, who was shot by her son on Friday afternoon, was resumed this afternoon. A verdict of death by misadventure was returned. MYSTERIOUS FATALITY. At the inquest concerning the death of John Fontenoy, 3o years of age, unmarried, who was found lying on the tramline at Addington on the mght of August 11th, suffering from fractured ribs, broken arm, and other severe injuries, and who died in the hospital last night,, Dr. Westenra said that ho thought the iiijuris were caused by a vehicle of some description striking Fontenoy. The motormen of two trams gave evidence as to- finding Fontenoy lying near the line. Fontenoy was under the influence of liquor when the accident occurred. The Coroner found a verdict that Fontenoy met his death by accident, but there was no evidence to show how it occurred
