NEW SOUTH WALES INSCRIBED STOCK. United Press Association—Copyright MELBOURNE, August 19. The Premiers’ Conference has not yet solved tho financial problem; but the prospects of reaching a settlement are considered hopeful. SYDNEY, August 19. The Government liasraised the interest on inscribed stock from 3| to 3:1 P er cent. The advance has been made in view of the higher prices being paid for money in the local market by other States. The Government is issuing half a million'pounds in new stock at 3:} per cent.
