Handsworth —Is 4d and Is 3d. Waitaia —Is 7d and Is Gd. Mr. W. Lissant Clayton reports that tho market in various mining shares has eased considerably of > late, but shows signs of a speedy revival. It is an exceptionally good line to buy into many good stocks, which Are bound to rise quickly, sucli as Grand Junctions, Talismans, Dixons Consolidatcds, May Queens, Sylvias, Waitangis, Watchmans, Hand worths, Waitaias, and Bendigos. The. latter especially are likely to show a. sharp rise in the near future. Sales of New Alpines are taking place at 7s 6d.
