PRONOUNCES TASMANIAN POTATOES INFESTED WITH IRISH BLIGHT.

Mr Kirk, New Zealand Government has pronounced a .sample of potatoes examined by him to be infested with Irish blight. He declared it possible to control the blight, but not to eradicate it if it once obtained a foothold.
