MURDER AND ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.
MAN SHOOTS HIS WIFE AND CUTS HIS THROAT.

A man named Selby, residing at Chippendale, quarrelled with his wife and shot her dead, putting: five revolver shots in her head and chest. He then cut his throat with a bread knife. There are chances of his recovery.
