HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.
AIONTHLY MEETING
The usual monthly meeting of the Trustees of the Gisborne Hospital was held at the Cook County Council Chambers last evening. There were present: Alessrs J. AA 7 . Bright (chairman), A. F. Alatthews, F. J. Lysnar, A. Dewing, and the Hon. Captain Tucker. A letter was received from the Friendly Societies’ Conference expressing confidence in the management ol the Hospital, and approving of the grant to Drs. AVilson and Sampson. ° The Chairman said the letter was very gratifying. The Hon. Captain Tucker: Very gratifying, indeed, to think - anything we have done has met with the approval of anyone. The secretary of the Friendly &ocioties’ Conference (Air. E. J. Brady) wrote stating that the members of the Conference wourd give all the assistance they could to make the forthcoming social a success. Cr. Lysnar: Hear, hear. The Chairman: The members of the Conference express themselves as extremely satisfied with the treatment lodge members receive in the institu tion. . Airs. A. Scott wrote thanking Drs. AVilson and Sampson and the Hospital nursing staff for the kindness shown to her while a patient in the institution. The secretary stated that the letter was only one of many such letters he had received. The Hon. Captain Tucker and Air. AV. D. S. AlacDonald, M.P.,were appointed the Visiting Committee for the month. N The Board decided to call for tenders for the supply of drugs and medical appliances. Accounts amounting to £289 12s 7<l were passed for payment, and tho meeting adjourned.
