AUCKLAND TOURING TEAM.
[Per I’ukkh Ammjci* i iur. . i AUCKLAND, August 23. The Auckland touring team left by the Main Trunk express to-night under the management or JVlr. C. P. Siichbury, a member of the committee of the Auckland Rugby Union. I lie members of the party are as follows: Backs, lien wick, Miller, T.alson, Murray, McLearv, McGregor, Magee, Bator. Morse and \Vebb; forwards, \\ iikosyofarring, Maguire (City), Nicholson, '"‘Tiuueds, Seeling, W’addell, Wiliams, Maguire (Grafton). Cunningham, Hayward and Sellers were unable to make- the full tour, out may leave Auckland on Thursday and take part in the Wellington match on Saturday. R. Magee will be captain, and A. Hi Francis vicecaptain of the team The itinerary of the tour is: Marlborough, at Blenheim, August 26th; v. Wellington, at Wellington, August 28th: v. Wanganui, at Wanganui, August 31st v. Taranaki, at New Plymouth, September 3rd; v. Maniapoto, at Te Kuiti, September 4th. The party con tains the best players of the province. The Auckland members of the North Island team are included in the touring party.
