The Acting-Premier, members of the Cabinet and Wellington Members of Parliament, and representatives of other sports bodies will be invited. _ . , The South Canterbury Harriers, who are conducting a New Zealand interprovincal cross-country championship race at Timaru on September'9th, and asked that the medals and badges tor the prize-winners be forwarded by that date, so that tbey may. be presented at a club reunion the same night.-—The request was passedConsideration of a letter from the Australasian Union with regard to the proposed, visit to Australia aud New Zealand of R. E. Walker and Heffernon, and Duncker, the South African athlete, was held over until further details are obtained". . Mr Marry att" referred to the position of the' Southland centre.
