OFFICERS’ TRAINING CORPS.
On whatever lines the , compulsory military training of the young men of New Zealand is laid down, provision must be made for an adequate supply^of instructing officers, and assuming that the .training of the members of these officers’ training oorps is as thorough as it should be, they shopld bejible to "take up the work that will lie in their hand when the Dominion prepares itself seriously for home defence. The scheme promises well as it is; it should under proper circumstances, prove or far greater value than its authors possibly hoped for when they drew it up. “Christchurch Press.”
