SENDING THREATENING LETTERS
fpER Press Association.! AUCKLAND, Sept, 2. At the Police Court this morning, Arnold Hare, a young man, was charged with having sent to T. E. Clark letters containing threats with intent to extort unoney . A letter was received by Clark demanding £SO for not disclosing information concerning the matters of a,certain firm,-the monev to be deposited in a certain place, lhe police were 'informed, awatch .wasset, and aoepsed was<-arrested. At the. request of the police accused was 2a. He was allowed bail in two sureties of £SO each.
