SOCIAL AT MOTU.

A BACHELORS’ BALL. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The Motu bachelors’ plain and fancy dress ball was held on Friday evening in the P.K.H. woolshed. For the past week the weather had been cold and wet, and a slight fall of snow on Thursday made many doubt the success of the coming gathering; but Friday morning broke clear and bright, and was followed by a beautiful day and evening.
