A SCHOONER’S CiREW MASSACRED

A French steamer brings the report of another massacre at the New Hebrides. The French trading schooner Guadalita drifted ashore in Espiegle Bay, Mallicolo. Hordes, of savages surrounded her and massacred the crew, consisting of the captain (a Frenchman), and four or five natives. They looted the schooner. Details ais meagre,-and some members of the crew may have escaped'.
