PERRY’S BIORAM A. The performance of Brigadier Perry’s Biorama Company in His Majesty’s Theatre last evening;, was well attended, and there was a fair number of children at the matinee given in the afternoon. The films shown were of a miscellaneous character. The humorous subjects were specially enjoyable^ The company will appear at Te Karalca this evening, and in the Salvation Army Citadel to-morrow evening, when an attractive programme of pictures and music is to be presented. On Friday evening, should the weather he favorable, a farewell open-air exhibition will be given in Victoria Domain. The Citv Band, together with the Biorama and Salvation Army Bands, will march from town to the Domain, where an exhibition of the animated pictures will take place. A large screen is to be erected for the purpose of Showing the pictures. The exhibition is to begin at 8 o’clock, and a sixpenny charge will be made for admission. PATHE PICTURES. t . . At His Majesty’s Theatre to-night, the Pathe, Picture Company will resume their Gisborne season. The management announces a great double programme. Some 5000 ft of additional film are to arrive this morning, and will be shown in addition to the pictures previously announced. The programme to-night is as varied as possible and includes some real gems of the moving picture art. The scenic subjects “North Borneo,” “London Zoo,” “Winter Sports in Savoy,” and “A Trip to Mexico” aro especially fine pictures. “A Test of Friendship” and “Baby’s Playmate” attract considerable attention wherever shown. The comic element is well provided for in “A Feed of Hay,” “The Volcanic Chimney,” “A Troubled Soul,” and “Have asked my chief to dine.” This programme will be repeated, to-morrow night and Friday. On Saturday afternoon a new programme will be given at the matinee and again in the evenme. ...
