In consequence of the theft at Chalons of the plan® of a new machine gun, General Brun, Minister of War, has circularised commanders of army corps with the view of a stricter guard being kept on materials of war. The publio are convinced that the plans of the gun are now in Germany’s hands. Newspapers state that the absconding oorporal has reached Metz. Five persons suspected of complicity have been arrested at Chalons.
