INADEQUATE SENTENCES OX MURDERERS. Bnitkh Pause Association —Copyright. ADANA, Sept. 8. In connection with the massacres at Adana, Ajevad Bey, ex-vali, has been sentenced to six years’ exclusion from the public service, and Remzi Pasha, military commandant, to three years’ imprisonment. The governor was acquitted. The Armenian patriarch has resigned as a protest against the inadequacy of the sentences and against the sentences of death on innocent Armenians.
