BUSINESS NOTES.
An important auction sale of household furniture and effects is advertised by Messrs Miller and Craig, on account of Mrs. (Dr.) Collins, who is about to leave for London, ana who is disposing of the greater portion of her furniture. The sale is to begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday next, September 16. Particulars of .the goods are advertised in this issue. Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. and Messrs Dalgety and Co. advertise in this issue particulars of their present' entries for the Mataiwhero stock: sale on Thursday next. Mr. J. Sigley, Gladstone Road, advertises a sale of books, stationery, fancy goods, etc., at very low prices for this week. Mr. C. Hawkins advertises new goods in millinery, smart and very cheap. Mr. C. G. Bloore, land and estate agent, advertises a house and acre of land on a good corner, for sal® at £720. Mr. W. Lissant Clayton announces that a client wishes to lease, with compulsory purchasing clause, upwards of ) acres, handy to town, near the railway. Messrs Adair Bros, advertise for a skirt band. Application is to be made to Miss Lunn, at their establishment. A smart boy is: required for night work. Application is to he made to the manager of the “Gisborne Times." Messrs C. Rosie and Co., drapers and clothiers, have a. change of advertisement in this, issue. A change of advertisement front the Melbourne Cash drapery and. clothing establishment appears in this issue.
