GISBORNE CLUB
The following telegram has been received by the secretary of the Gisborne Rowing Club, from Mr. W. Miller, at present in Auckland:—“lf opening of rowing season fixed for September 30, can possibly arrange for Arnst (champion sculler of the world) to visit Gisborne and give exhibition on river. Keply.” Yesterday the committee replied as follows: —“Will certainly have opening on 30th if Arnst can come. Reply as soon as possible.”
