Sir, —There are instances of many circumstances which, when deliberately considered, offer food for reflection, and as-an illustration the Gisborne Borough Council insists upon the-'use of sealed pans in lieu of the system. Therefore, may I ask 'if the, original sealed' pan is to be returned to the samo household from which it is taken, or one from the inhabitants of premises of an insanitary state, and where disease exists? —1. am, etc., D.
