Unitkd I’nicss Association —Copyright (Received October 5, 10.10 p.m.) BERLIN, October 5.
Viennese and Berlin newspapers give prominence to a speech by Prince Ludwig, son of the Prince Regent of Bavaria, during the unveiling of a monument in memory of the battle of Helmstadt, fought in 1806. Prince Ludwig advised the Germans in Austria to unite in maintaining their position at home, and not commit high treason by sending longing looks across the frontier. The speech is considered a warning to the pan-Germans that their propaganda may damage the solidity of the Austro-German alliance.
