Mr J. M’Dowoll, of Riverside, Ashburton Comity, has had a phenomenal lambing season. From a stock or -Ou mediu m-aged cross-bred ewes bo _ obtained 400 lambs, and from the whole of his flock of 500 ewes he obtained 700 lambs, or a percentage of 140. the lambing season on the Longbeach Estate has also established a record for a number of years past. The onlv certain protection from the effects of a bad cold or harassing cough is tcssicora.
