WILL NOT VISIT GISBORNE
[ Per Press Association.l AUCKLAND, Oct. 6. 1-I.M.S. Challenger sailed for Wellington this morning. It is understood she will stop at the Great Barrier for a week for gun practice.
His Worship the Mayor of Gisborne (Mr W. D. Lysnar) has received a telegram from Captain Da Costa, expressing regret that the Challenger will be unable to call at Gisborne on the way South.
