DEATH WHILE PREACHING.
CLERGYMAN’S SUDDEN END. United Press Association— (..opyhioht. LONDON, October 6. Canon David Reith dropped dead in his pulpit in the middle of a sermon at Saint Phage, Greenwich. The Rev. David Reith, M.A., was a well-known clergyman, aged 67, and was the son of the late Dr. Alexander Reith, of Aberdeen. He was ordained to the curacy of St. Martin’s, Birmingham, in 1868, and became Vicar of Christ Church, Greenwich in 1874. He was a very active "worker in philanthropic matters, and was an able preacher.
