REVIEWS PIER REGIMENT

[Per Press Association.! CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 8. Yesterday Lady Plunket, honorary colonel of the No. 2 North Canterbury Mounted Rifles, reviewed her regiment at Mr. H. Lance’s homestead, Horsley Downs. Lady Plunket, who wore her colonel’s uniform, and saluted perfectly, was entertained at luncheon, and also received by the ladies of Ainuri district. On Wednesday Lady Plunket visited and inspected institutions under the charge of the Roman Catholic Church here, being accompanied by Bishop Grimes. She was greatly interested in the Magdala hospital.
