Mr H. J. Grieve, watchmaker and jeweller, has a series of announcements to the public in the advertising columns of this issue. Mr T. G. Lawless, land and estate agent, advertises a number of desirable properties for sale on easy terms. The Plumbing Company, Peel Street, advertise that they are agents for the Champion automatic gas generators, the Champion range and Hales’ patent scaffold brackets. Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. announce an important sale of furniture for 11 a.m. on Thursday next at Mrs Parker’s, Glenalon House, Gladstone Road. Luncheon is to be provided at 1 p.m. There is no reserve. Messrs Williams and Kettle will hold their spring horse fair at Mr Con Neenan’s yards, Ormond, at 10 a.m. oil Monday. October 25th., when upwards o* 250 horses will be submitted. Details of various lots are advertised in this issue. A shepherd, with good dogs, is wanted for Glenroy Station. Application is to he made to Air J. C. Graham. Mr Chas.. Taylor, upper Gladstone Road, has a notification in this issue respecting the London Furniture Factory. A reward is offered for the return of five letters, addressed to care of tTie County Office, and lost in Childers Road."
