Air W. D. Lysnar, Alayor of Gisborne, is going South this evening in connection with the Harbor Board Bill. He will probably be accompanied by the Hon. Capt. Tucker. Aliss Grace Palotta, who comes to Gisborne with the Hugh AA'ard Company, is said to be the most courted actress who ever visited India. Maharajahs, vice-royalty and nabobs vied with each other to provide her entertainment. “Too busy, thank you,” was the invariable reply. Aliss Palotta spent all her time in the theatre while on tour, for she had to appear in a repertoire of 12 parts, ranging from tragedy to farce.
