JUDGES AND TROTTING ENTRIES.
Preparations are well in hand for the coming Agricultural Show, which, will open on the 26th instant. The entries promise an excellent season, and the gathering should, as usual, prove the greatest event of the season for Poverty Bay. The judges have been appointed as follows: Draught horses—Mr H. Glazebrook; Harness horses —Mr W. D. Watson; Hacks —Mr A. Reid; Competitions —Air A. Reid; Trotting—Capt. Tucker; Ponies —Air J. Strang; Stud cattle—Air H. Glazebrook; Dairy cattle—Air R. Reynolds: Fat cattle —Air W. Richmond; Lincoln sheep—Air J. Strang; Other breeds of Sheep —Air J. Strang; Romneys—Air W. Allen, of Clareville; Fat sheep—Air W. Richmond; Dogs (sporting and fancy)—Air W. A. Smith; Sheep dogs—Air J. Russell; Produce — Government Expert ; Pigs—Air R. Reynolds ; Poultry—Air AY. A. Smith.
