ISSUE OF SUAIAIONSES REFUSED

Sir Charles Darling and Sir Thomas Bucknill refused to issue summonses against Air. Herbert Gladstone, Home Secretary, on a charge Of assaulting Laura Ainsworth, but directed the Birmingham Stipendiary Alagistrate to grant a summons against the Government or order the facts to be investigated. FEMALE POLITICAL PRISONERS RELEASED. (Received October 14, 10.30 p.m) LONDON, October 14. Lady Constance Lyttelton and Airs. Braiisford, who were sentenced to a month’s imprisonment, have boon released without efforts being made to forcibly feed them.
