McKenzie has promised to have a branch of the Geological Sur-1 vev Department re-established at Gisborne, ho that the survey previously in hand m conncclLn with the oil fields can be gone - on with. -Be has expressed to Mr. W. D Lysnar his pleasure at the promts- V n'rr indications that have been obtained Mr Lysnar has promised to send the Minister a couple of barrels of oil from the Gisborne Oil Company s bore, so that its quality can be .tested in the Government workshops.
