HOP CROPS.
DECREASING IN ENGLAND.
United Press Association— Copyright LONDON, October 18. Speaking'at the qpening of the brewers’ exhibition, Mr. G. Tabrium, chairman of the Hop Trade Association, stat. ed that 32,539 acres of hops were grown in Britain in 1009, and a still farther decrease was likely. Mr Kirkpatrick, Squth Australian Agent-General, said that if England would. only apply to Tasmania it could supply all the hops required.
