MR; LATHAM’S EXTRAORDINARY FLIGHT. United Press Association —Copyright. LONDON, October 24. Mr. Latham, made an extraordinary flight at Blackpool. The wind was blowing 40 miles an hour. ' With an Antoinette monoplane he travelled, five miles an hour against the wind, and 90 -miles an hour with it. No others attempted the flight. M. BLERIOT AT VIENNA. VIENNA, October 24. The Emperor Francis Joseph and a gathering of 200,000 people witnessed M. Bleriot’s flights in Vienna on Saturday. TRIUMPH OF A BARONESS. PARIS, October 24. Baroness De la Roche, in a biplane, made a splendid flight of 300 metres at Chalone- camp. She is the- first woman to venture -alone in an aeroplane.
